ALL YOU HAVE TO KNOW ABOUT THE SECOND DAY OF REHEARSALS

The first act to rehearse was Czech Republic’s Gabriela Gunčiková with a powerful song called ”I Stand”. She impressed everyone and now, Czech Republic has big chances to get through.

Up next, was Cyprus, represented by a rock band, Minus One with the song ”Alter Ego”. They are preparing a very complex staging, full of special effects and weird scenery. Here are some photos and tweets which describe the whole show:

Estonia’s Juri came up with a very detailed show, lots of graphic effects and quite a strange image on the LED floor.

Montenegro was the next country to rehearse and from what we’ve seen, they managed to do a good live and also a nice staging with a lot of lights which are lifting the song.

Iceland’s Greta Salome was one of the most expected acts to see at this first rehearsal and she obviously kept her staging from the selection but there have been some improvements. Unfortunately, the journalists said that the camera angles weren’t helping the show and also there have been some asymmetric moves from Greta. We are hoping she will deliver a fantastic performance next Tuesday.

One of the favourites, Malta’s Ira Losco performed at Globe Arena and giving us an innovative staging. ”Walk on Water” will qualify for sure but Ira’s concern to achieve a top 10 place in the Grand Final.

The first semifinal has ended and up next to rehearse was the host country, Sweden with the winner of Melodifestivalen 2016, Frans. The simplicity and the modernity of the staging which he used in March were kept, but the camera angles were changed, providing a better experience for the viewers.
