ON POINT JURY: AMIR – „J`AI CHERCHÉ„

Maintenant, on doit dire quelque chose de la chanson de France. Haha, it is time now to judge France`s song, but first of all, let me explain the scoring system: we give points from 1 to 12, without 9 and 11 and we add them until we get a certain number (for example 71/96). Why 96? Because we are eight people in the team (so 12 multiplied by 8 equals 96).

Călin Giurgiu: For me Amir has good chances to win this year. Great song and he should be at last in top 3 in Stockholm! Go France! 12/12

Laur Mihai: Ohh Gosh, this is insane!!! I would never have thought that Amir will become a real contender for winning this year of ESC. When the song was released, I said…it’s ok, maybe he will have a good show and France will be back in top 10. After some listenings, I become ecstatic and suddenly Amir has a very good chance to win this year. „J’ai cherché” is made perfectly for Amir, he is charming, it’s a real pleasure to see him singing this song. I love the mix of french and English, the french part is absolutely fantastic. The song inspires elegance, simplicity, and modernity…I am very curious if the French team can succeed in bringing all these essential elements which are the main characteristics of „Je cherché”. It would be no surprise if we are heading to Paris next year, I’ll be happy! 12/12

Matei Pieca: And finally, my favourite country in this year’s competition is judged. I absolutely love Amir’s song. It is just perfect. J’ai cherché is THAT thype of song which I would listend to all day long. It is singable, it is catchy… it has all the things I am looking for. Unfortunately, I do not see it winning and I am rolling in my toomb because of this. Anyway, a Top 5 or even a Top 3 would be a tremendous achivement for France. 12/12

Andrei Faur: I’m glad that France chose a good song, but I don’t think he is going to win. It’s catchy, modern sounds and good lyrics. Definitely top 10 for him. Or will have Amaury’s fate? He is trying to be Dani O’Donoghue! 8/12
