Here we go again with Georgia`s entry „Midnight Gold”. First of all, let me explain the scoring system: we give points from 1 to 12, without 9 and 11 and we add them until we get a certain number (for example 71/96). Why 96? Because we are eight people in the team (so 12 multiplied by 8 equals 96).
Muntean Marco: The revamp is really good,I really like it.It’s different, not a typical pop song or something special for ESC.Because it’s different doesn’t mean it’s bad. 8/12.
Călin Giurgiu: Just NO. No No!! I don`t want to see this kind of song in Eurovision. 1/12.
Laur Mihai: This song is so weird…the revamp made it more digestible, also the bridge has a more significant role in the song. Last year, Nina Sublati brought a massive performance even if the final place didn’t agree with me. It’s an indie rock cheap production which could gather few fans, probably the fact that is unique and unusual draw people attention…not in my case. This year, Georgia has a nonqualification song…however, if they can bring this weirdness of the song in the show, they could fight for the 10th place, but this is inexorable. 2/12.
Matei Pieca: This is the biggest crap in this year’s competition. It is truly a nightmare for me to listen to this „song”. It has nothing to do with music. It has nothing to do with Eurovision. It has nothing to do with common sense. Just by looking back at Georgia’s last year’s performance we can see a tremendous involution. There is absolutely no doubt that Georgia will stay in the semi-final this year. Either this or Montenegro will have the leas amount of points in the competition. I will give „Midnight Gold” 1 point just because I can’t give 0 points. 1/12.
Ingrid Marc: They are the exact copy of „The Neighborhood”. This combination of soft pop-rock works only at the beginning of the song. As I said, they are the impersonation of The Neighborhood, especially on the effect applied on their voices. 1/12.
Andrei Faur: For Georgia this year, I have just one word and that is HORROR! This is why I hate the most. A song which can be used in that idiotic movies from Hollywood, with high schools, where the popular girl is in love with the guy who bullies everyone and the geek guy is in love with a popular girl. In the end, the cheerleader falls in love with the geek guy who sings for her this song! 1/12 from me!
Alex Iovan: 3/12.
Cătălina Gheorghe: 6/12.
