From Belarus, On Point Jury took a flight to Spiritual Home of Eurovision, the homeland of leprechauns and Dustin The Turkey, Ireland. This year the Irish people put their’s money on Nicky Byrne. He is known to the public as a member of the former band, Westlife, who broke up in 2012. Byrne will compete in the 2nd semi-final with the song called ”Sunlight”. Will be Ireland a finalist this year?
Marco Muntean: Let’s start with something positive,Nicky is handsome, that’s all.His song is full of cliches, but catchy a little bit and the voice is so weak.Maybe internal selection was not a good idea for Ireland. No final, for sure, sorry. 5/12
Alex Iovan: 7/12. This song makes me believe in the true happiness. I don’t know why, but when I listen to it I just smile. And this is a good thing when a song gives you such a feeling. I think that Ireland will qualify! ^^
Călin Giurgiu: For the first time when I heard that song I start to love it. It`s a good song but something missing. Maybe will be in final, maybe not. 7/12
Matei Pieca: 5/12 It is ok, but the chances of qualifications are really really low.
Andrei Faur: I like this song, I might say that is my guilty pleasure this year. I cannot wait to see what Irish delegation has in mind for the show. Good one, Ireland! 7/12 from me
